Has anyone here bought anything from an infomercial before? I wonder if the product is really as good as they claim to be when advertised. I have never bought anything but they'll say this is the best thing you'll ever buy, or you'll never use anything as good as this, and so on. So what are your thoughts? I think they just rave about what they are selling just to get you to buy it.

I think there was a product called the Gazelle on an infomercial. It's an exercise thing, those ones where you put each foot on a foot thing and glide your feet. It works alright and would probably work better if we actually used it more than we do. *smile* But yeah, I think we've had it for over a year and it only broke because of roughness in someone here handling it or because it was hit by something. Otherwise, it's really a regular piece of exercise equipment and I can't say it's better or worse than anything else. What I want to order sometime is the magic bullet, and the Cobra stunlight. Also, there was a website I used to read that has rating on different infomercial products for anyone considering buying anything from infomercials. I don't remember if this is the same one, but this is one I found just now: It's http://www.infomercialratings.com/

I've always found the Magic Bullet an interesting blender to have, but I would never order anything from one of those commercials. They just drive me up the damn wall.

A lot of the info mercial stuff you can buy in the stores now. i personally have a magic bullet and would definitely reccomment it to all. But but it at walmart. It is like 30 bucks cheaper.
I bought the pasta pot when it came out. It sucks.
And I have Zone Pilates that I bought off ebay. I personally like it and if I did it more often, I'd see better results than what I'm seeing now.

Your really playing a game of chance with infomershels because about 50 of the time the stuff is just plain junk. I had a friend that bought a thing of grass seed, i forget what it was marketed as, the mearical lawn patch kit I think, and the grass seed grue just like they sed it would, but as soon as it stopped raining everyday and things dryed out that patch of lawn was the first thing to go. Derectly disclaiming what they sed on there 60 seconds of jabbering, that omg this grass sead is imperviece and it will grow in no time flat.
And another friend bought a dish set and it broke with in a month. Basicaly just considder what your paying for, if your getting something that's 19 buks witch most of these info mershel krap things are, be aware that your paying for what is most likely a low cwality pece of junk. You get what you pay for.
